How to Make a Year-end Job Search Work for You!

By Paul Megan Most active job hunters who are in the market during the holiday season tend to put everything on hold. No one is looking to hire, they rationalize. Besides, who wants to think about changing job during such a fun and family season? This could be a serious mistake. You could be missing out on one of the most productive job search times of the year. There are several reasons why you should take advantage of the season. 1. Most companies are making year-end hiring decisions based on retirements or transfers. 2. Manpower needs based on company growth are reviewed as budgets are being prepared. 3. Actual job descriptions have not yet been announced. But managers are very aware of what their hiring requirement s will be. 4. As a result, competition for job is minimal or non-existent. In fact, your ability to intervene in the traditional hiring process in advance of job opening announcements gives you a serious leg up. The best way is to get yourself in front of a decision-maker without requiring him/her to think of you as a job candidate. This gives you an opportunity to explore corporate manpower needs and expectations without forcing a premature hiring decision. Activating your personal contacts is the best way to identify managers who could be in a position to develop an interest in you. Get your family, friends and acquaintances to help you identify decision-makers from among their contacts. Then ask them to personally introduce you. Keep the meetings with these hiring managers very casual and informal. For example, get together for breakfast or lunch . . . on the weekend or in the evening. Your purpose is to introduce yourself and inquire about growth plans of the company. At the same time you convey information about yourself . . . but without asking for a job or implying that your job hunting. Taking advantage of the congeniality of the season allows you to conduct these meetings comfortable and informally. They can lead to unexpected job opportunities! Paul Megan writes for EEI, the world-class pioneer in alternative job search techniques and non-traditional career advancement strategies . . . since 1985. Simple, and Stylish Wedding Reception Centerpiece: Craft Project

By Lisa Robbin This simple, yet elegant table centerpiece is a great way to make a fancy “to do” at each table, without breaking the bank. This is so easy, even a child can do it! I had my 8 year old son help me. For my own wedding, we picked up stemware at our local thrift stores. The idea wasn’t to have every table look exactly the same, but rather for each table to be a variation on a theme. If you’re looking for a more unified appearance, please make sure your count is accurate and buy everything you need at once, to ensure colors and shapes match. For each centerpiece, you will need: 1 wine goblet, or other stemware 2 pieces of tulle 9-12″ in width (either square or circle) 2 contrasting curling ribbons approximately 10-14″ long 1-3 tea light candles (the 7-hour floating type)or other floating candles, depending on the width of the glass water 1. Stack the tulle pieces. If you are using square pieces, turn one of the pieces so that you have an 8-point star shape. It will add more visual appeal to the finished project. You might consider using 2 diferent colored pieces of tulle to add a more dramatic appearance. 2. Center the glass on the tulle. We’re about to tie the tulle around the base of the glass, but before we do, we need to get our ribbons ready. 3. Take the 2 lengths of ribbon and pull them together. Make sure they are not twisted. You want one color on the “inside” and the other on the “outside” so that when we tie them around the stem of the glass, we have a beautiful contrasting mix of color. 4. Pull up the tulle and secure it in place with the ribbon. Tie a knot to secure the ribbon to the stem. Now make a bow and pull the ribbons apart so that your bow has more volume. Curl the ends of your curling ribbon and arrange the curls around the base of the glass. 5. Fill your goblet with water. You might consider coloring your water with a bit of food coloring to match your wedding colors. 6. Float the candle(s) on top of the water. Light the candles as the reception begins. Look for long-burning floating candles. You don’t want your candles burning out just as dinner ends. A single candle floating on water will gravitate to the edge of the glass. Try to find glasses big enough to float 2-4 candles safely. Too much heat may damage fragile stemware, so use caution. For a more elegant look, arrange goblets of different heights on the same table or change the level of the water in each glass to create the illusion of height. You can also decorate your tulle with beads, or find tulle that is already adorned with sequins or beads. Use your imagination and create something perfect for your special occasion. Place the goblet on a mirrored coaster to create a beautiful reflection of light. Good luck, and best wishes on your special day. Body Detox at Home Get Rid of the Poisons!

By Matt Ream There are toxic substances all around us. They are in the air, in the water, in our cosmetics and toiletries even in our food. These toxins include chemicals, additives, carcinogens, hormone disruptors, poisons and contaminants. It’s scary, I know. Fortunately, there are ways to rid your body of these harmful substances. The theory behind doing a body detox home or anywhere else is to rid the body of these harmful substances. The toxins that we ingest, through whatever method, are normally stored in body fat. The kidneys, liver, lungs and skin are designed to process environmental contaminants and expel them from the body. However, many people believe, and research is confirming, that not all of these toxins are being properly processed. There are three major ways to detox your body: detox diets, body wraps or patches, and nutritional supplements or pills. A detox diet normally consists of refraining from most of the foods we normally eat. It may involve going through a liquid fast, where you only drink liquids, instead of eating solid food. It may involve eating certain foods which would be organic and very high in fiber. Most body detox proponents claim that the majority of the toxins and up in the colon, where they cause 90% of all diseases. A detox diet should consist of avoiding white sugar and processed flour, as should any sensible eating program. The detox diet goes a step further however in restricting intake of most other foods as well. Fruits and vegetables should be a significant part of the food intake. Drinking a lot of water is also important, as is limiting or eliminating alcohol consumption. Fasting may take the form of water fasting, or one only drinks water, or juice fasting, where one can get some nutrients by drinking juice. Juice also has a lot of fiber which helps with the colon cleansing. Stick to organic, natural juices, and not highly processed concentrates or flavored sugar waters labeled as juice. Body wraps involve wrapping the body in healthy substances in an effort to draw the toxins out of the body. These substances may be things such as herbs, sea salt, and various clays. You can pay a lot of money for a body wrapped in a spot, or you can create your own at home. Foot patches work similarly, in that they draw the toxins out of the body. The foot patches are normally applied to the bottom of the foot and worn during the night while the wearer is sleeping. In the morning, the patch is removed and is noticeably darker, from the toxins it has removed. Doing a body detox at home often consists of taking pills or supplements. These are generally designed to help cleanse the colon. They may be taken for three to four weeks then not taken for another three to four weeks, until the cycle is repeated. There are also supplements that will help replace the nutrients lost during a fast or a restricted eating plan. Whichever method you decide to use, you can detox your body at home, and save expensive trips to doctors, alternative health care providers, or other detox practitioners. Learn to detox your body @home, quickly and easily. Our ebook will give you recipes for body wraps and detox drinks, a full body detox plan, a comprehensive list of the poisons you are currently ingesting, and much more. Bringing Clients in the Door: How Professionals Can Encourage Business

By Sharon Drew Morgen Youre a professional either a doctor, or a dentist, or an artist. Maybe youre an independent sales person who works on commission, or a speaker who must sell yourself. You might even be a B-C business whose product depends on a product or service youve developed. Youve been trained well; you went to a professional school, or positioned yourself as an expert, and youre very good at what you do. And now youve gone into business to give others the opportunity to pay you to do what you do best. You rent space, hire staff, take out a loan possibly a very large loan to populate your office with the best: technology, staff, ambiance. And a few of your friends come in as your first clients. And then you wait for others to walk in the door. And you wait. Youre not a business person and youve not been taught the fine art of marketing. Not to mention that its embarrassing to have to tell others how good you are and that they should pay you because youre good. Hi. Im Joe Smith. Im the new doc in town. You oughta come in and see me. Im really good and Ill take good care of you. When can I expect you? Ive got time to see you, um, all day today, and, um, well, whenever you want to come in I could make time for you. When are you coming in? WHY CONVENTIONAL SALES DOESNT WORK IN THE PROFESSIONAL MARKET Part of the problem is that sales has been based on some rendition of a push strategy, or the newly coined approach of a relationship (which does nothing more than try to have the prospect like you), and of course all of your competitors are doing the same thing. But the model as we’ve known it is inefficient. Statistically, the very model brings in no more than 7% of its target (obviously leaving a 93% failure rate). Following the conventional sales model, youd have to sell your services by influencing/convincing/persuading folks that you are better than your competitors, that you are to be trusted, that you are price competitive, and that the buyer needs you and your product. And, whatever else they based their decision on. Indeed, that is the problem: who knows what buyers base their decisions on? They do. Only the client knows the criteria to fix or change something. Its been a fallacy, all these years, to believe that because the vendor (you, in this case) can understand the problem (and you do! You do!), and your product can solve their problem (you can! You can!), that your product is a natural fit and that of course you are the best vendor. But only those who live inside the problem have the capacity to understand the problem and resolve it. While a solution may look obvious to you as an outsider, it isnt obvious at all to them. Theyve had the problematic issues, along with a certain set of givens and expectations and work-arounds, in place for a long time; it feels normal to them. And until/unless they are willing and able to do something different, they wont change. At the end of the day, you will never fully understand the clients criteria, or system, or viewpoint, or set of systems that hold the problem in place; and you cant know their criteria for making a change or for using you over their current provider (and everyone has some sort of provider). When I moved here to Austin, I obviously had to change my long term dental providers. After working with a new periodontist for a while, he suggested a regular dentist for a cap I needed. Of course I went on his recommendation. But as I sat in the chair with a numb mouth filled with dental paraphernalia, this guy began telling me about his political convictions which were very, very opposite to mine, and frankly, offensive to me. Next. Was his care good? Probably. Was he a nice guy? Um well, maybe. But Im a highly political animal and couldnt abide by political opinions being spouted at me when I was helpless to object. He had no idea what my criteria were. In fact, he was actually surprised when he called me months later to get my ongoing business and I told him no. Its not about the product. Its not about how wonderful you are. Its about the internal systems the beliefs, the tangle of relationships and policies and historic remedies and people issues and and and. HOW DO WE FIND THE RIGHT CLIENTS? Given you know your craft but may not have the same level of savvy to garner all of the patients or clients that you deserve, how indeed do you get the business to come in the door? Remember: its not about you. Remember that its about how the client makes their best decision. Your job is to help your clients decide to work with you. Here are some ideas that might help. Pick the right ones for you: send out a monthly newsletter with an article of interest. Make sure you mention a new product or service that you have somewhere in the newsletter, but ensure there are articles of interest written by you and other colleagues. This makes you an authority and keeps you top of mind for when your client/prospect can make a new decision. Of course, the article itself might help people decide to come in. contact colleagues in adjacent industries (like periodontists if youre a dentist) and arrange some form of referencing model so you both help each other get business. Getting a referral from a current provider is a great help in the decision process. hold monthly lunch sessions that teach aspects of your business to prospects/clients. Either do it yourself or invite some of your business partners (see #2) to speak some of the time. That will bring in their clients to meet you, help them highlight their skills so they can get new business also, and will offer your current clients new data. write interesting articles in local magazines. This will get you natural press. write interesting articles in e-zines that your client base might read or that will get you local notice. hire someone to call your current clients to find out how you are doing; have them tell you what you can do better, what theyd like to see that they currently dont get from you, and mention youd like a referral if they would feel comfortable doing that. Use facilitative questions like: What would you need to see from us to ensure you get all of your needs met? What would that look like for you? What would you need to see from us to feel comfortable recommending us to a friend? give your current clients 50% off on X if they send a referral. This will not only get you a new client but will ensure that you keep your current client base. Its easier to keep current clients then it is to get new ones. set up a website. Have a page for each of your services, and have links to your business partners/colleagues (see #2). Have your newsletters accessible, and have links to other authorities who are affiliated with your work. Make it a site that your clients or prospects can come to meet you, and determine that youre a professional. By the way, make your site stand for who you are: make your personality shine through. For example, I have 2 main sites: one is to introduce my Buying Facilitation Method, and its mainstream looking to make a large number of people comfortable with a revolutionary idea. My keynote site is creative, flowing, powerful, and fun: this introduces my character as a speaker very different from an information based site as my other one is. These ideas should get you started. Just remember to stay open and flexible to whatever will be necessary to have people decide that you will be part of the solution they need to embrace to solve their problem. Good luck. Using Methadone To Reduce The Withdrawal Symptoms In Heroin Addicts

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Heather_Colman] Heather Colman As a narcotic analgesic, Methadone is a synthetic pain reliever used to treat various conditions and relieve pain, as well as treating the addiction of heroin in users. Methadone is comparable to the characteristics and effects of morphine; in fact, it is extremely similar in the way it acts, as well. The major difference is that Methadone is introduced gradually and its action is mild upon onset. This prevents the patient from feeling euphoric or high when taking the medication. The dosage will be determined based on various aspects including their tolerance level and their weight. For example, as the patients cravings for heroin decreases the dosage of Methadone is decreased as well. However, even though Methadone is used to treat addictions, some addicts choose to use the drug as a way to get their fix. As a result, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has defined Methadone as a Schedule II drug. There are three forms of Methadone, injection, tablets, and oral solutions. It is made with the active ingredient called Methadone hydrochloride. Dosage is set again by weight and addiction to heroin, however, no person should exceed the maximum daily recommendation of 100 milligrams. The drug is used to curb the effects of withdrawal symptoms that occur when a user quits using heroin. There are several side effects that can come with using Methadone. It is important that your physician monitors the use of Methadone closely and that any changes be reported immediately to him or her for evaluation. Some short-term side effects of this drug could include vomiting, restlessness, slowed breathing, nausea, pupil contraction, itchy skin, constipation, severe sweating, sexual dysfunction, and even death. Methadone could also have long-term use side effects that include respiration or lung problems. Women could also have specific side effects that may lead to lapsing menstrual cycles or changes. Furthermore, women could experience complications in pregnancy if the dosage levels are reduced while the woman is pregnant. In general, the risks of these side effects can be reduced by keeping in close contact with a physician and having them monitor the use. Illegal uses of Methadone have been identified as causes for death among abusers. Because people have no real idea of the effects of Methadone, overdosing by abusers is on the rise. If not carefully monitored by a physician a Methadone patient could become addicted to the drug, which would lead to tolerance and addiction. This would all subsequently lead to withdrawal symptoms when the dose is decreased or stopped. Be sure to keep all appointments with your doctor, while taking Methadone and report any changes immediately. Daphnes for Scent and Colour

By Geoff Bryant Anyone with even a passing knowledge of plants knows that daphnes have wonderfully fragrant flowers. And because some of them - usually the most scented - flower in winter, they’re the sort of must-have plants that are usually among the first planted in any new garden. There are around 50 species of Daphne, many of which are choice garden specimens. They are widespread lot, ranging from Europe and North Africa to temperate and subtropical Asia. Most of them are evergreen or nearly so, but a few are deciduous, often flowering before the foliage expands. The plant everyone calls daphne is Daphne odora, particularly the cultivar ‘Leucantha’ , which is often misspelt ‘Leucanthe’ . This shrub, a native of China and Japan, sells in vast numbers, mainly on the strength of its perfume, but also because it’s a reasonably hardy evergreen bush. It grows to around 1.5m tall with leathery, deep green leaves up to 80mm long. From mid-winter on into spring it produces clusters of small, starry, pale pink flowers. Several flower and foliage forms are available and the variety with yellow-edged leaves, ‘Variegata’ (sometimes called ‘Aureomarginata’ ), is often hardier and easier to grow than the species. Daphne odora can be quite particular about soil conditions and is slightly frost tender in cold winter areas. It does best in cool, moist, humus enriched, well-drained, acid soil in sun or light shade. Work in plenty of compost or similar organic matter - it’s impossible to use too much - and feed regularly with liquid fertilisers and an occasional side dressing of acid fertiliser. Kept healthy, D. odora develops quickly and is attractive even without flowers, but it isn’t a long-lived bush. You can expect to have to replace it at least every 8-10 years. Because daphnes are so popular, nurseries propagate thousands of them every year. For many years the plants were nearly all cutting-raised and with repeated propagation by this method the cutting stocks declined and became badly infected with viral diseases that were transmitted to their progeny. Around fifteen years ago Daphne odora ‘Leucantha’ was refreshed by producing new plants by tissue culture, thereby eliminating most of the disease problems. At the time, the improved appearance of these virus-free “high-health” plants was remarkable. Although since then new batches of tissue cultured plants have been introduced, many of the original high-health daphnes were used as cutting stock and now these plants are showing viral problems. When buying ‘Leucantha’ try to ensure that you get a tissue cultured plant or a first or second generation cutting from cultured stock. Several other species are similar in appearance to Daphne odora and are well worth growing as slightly different alternatives to what everyone else has. Of these, Daphne bholua and Daphne laureola are the most commonly available. Daphne bholua occurs in both deciduous and evergreen forms, but here they all seem to behave as semi-evergreens (or semi-deciduous if you like). It is shrub up to 3m tall, sometimes rather narrow and open in habit, that like Daphne odora flowers in winter and spring. The flowers are strongly scented, white-tinged-pink and open from deep pink buds. Black fruits (drupes) follow the flowers. First classified in 1825 but slow to enter cultivation, it is one of a group of four species known as paper daphnes because in their home range paper and ropes were made from their bark. It was first recorded in gardens in 1938, but didn’t really become at all widely grown until the late 1960s to mid 70s. Native to the eastern Himalayas, it is somewhat tougher than Daphne odora under New Zealand conditions. Though strangely, British references often rate it as slightly less hardy. Whatever the reason for its local success, just be happy to know that in most of our gardens it thrives. Daphne bholua is difficult to raise from cuttings and although it can be grafted, seed is the best method of propagation. The seed germinates well and while the seedlings are slow to start into strong growth, they gain vigour with age and usually flower in their fourth year. bad check to payday loan education minnesota short term loans bad credit auto bank loan free government cash loans

Asthma Treatment Ways

By Bruno Brown Asthma can be treated in many ways 1. Using conventional medicines and therapies 2. Using alternative medicines such as herbs or other traditional medicines 3. By using alternative therapies such as Yoga, Acupuncture, etc… Every type of therapy has its own scope and time span. The first and the most widely accepted therapy is the conventional medicines and procedures. In this procedure of asthma treatment, the patient is treated in two ways 1. Short term treatment 2. Long term treatment Short term asthma treatment involves the instant relief of the patient from asthma attacks. Short term treatment involves the administration of inhalers and orally administered drugs. Asthma cannot be cured, but the scope of asthma can be controlled with the help of a proper asthma management program. Short term treatment is done mainly by using Metered Dose Inhalers or MDIs. Dry powder inhalers are also gaining favor in the treatment of asthma. For those patients who cannot use the MDIs, nebulizer therapy is used. Long term asthma treatment involves more of Parallel treatment and lesser use of drugs. In parallel asthma treatment, environmental components and surrounding analysis is done to minimize the factors that lead to Asthma attacks. In this type of treatment environment components such as pollen grains, allergens etc are minimized from the patients surroundings to minimize the chances of an asthma attack. For this it is necessary that the patients place of residence be cleaned every week, the patient must be kept away from pets with fur or feather, weekly washing of the bedding of the patient in hot water. Avoid using synthetic material in the patients bedding, replace upholstery based furniture to vinyl or leather ones. Remove carpeted floors. They may contain dust particles that could cause problems to the asthma patient. Use the Air conditioner to protect the patient from subtle temperature changes. Keep the house dry. Humidity effects the asthma patient. After the parallel asthma treatment is completed, lung functioning is monitored to look for effective changes. After this, medicines like corticosteroids and bronchodilators are administered. Periodic check up is necessary to know about any changes in the condition of the patient. For patients have persistent asthma attacks, an annual dose of influenza vaccine is necessary. Written by Bruno Brown for Asthma Treatment. Breast Implant Augmentation Surgery: Tips To Follow Before You Have Your Operation

By Polly Summer Make preparations at home for your life to be super-simple. For example, buy microwave meals so that you are not having to cook from scratch. Get anything on shelves down prior to having surgery, so you will not have to stretch when you get back. Have all shirts laid out that do not require stretching (ie: being pulled over your head). Make sure you have a drink, tissues, and pain killers by your bed - and do not forget the remote control! Have your house spotless ready for your return, as you will not feel like cleaning when you get back. Make sure your car is full of gas, to give yourself the longest amount of time possible before needing to pump gas again. Water all your plants! Buy a range of cheap bras in varying cup sizes. Pad them out yourself and wear them around underneath your clothing to get used to different sizes and heaviness. Use this to gauge what cup size you are most comfortable with, and how large you want to go. Take pictures of yourself in different cup sizes - which looks best? It is a good idea to start sleeping on your back, as you will need to after the surgery. Try to work on your stomach muscles too, to help you get up from bed. Generally get on a health kick by eating healthily and exercising, as this will aid your body to recover much more quickly. It also helps to reduce any stress and anxiety you may be feeling prior to surgery. Get a notepad ready or a timer so you can remember to take your medication (or remind yourself that you have already taken it). Keep a diary of your progress, and to be able to note any questions that come up after surgery. Take ‘before’ photographs to compare afterwards! Shave or wax your underarms prior to surgery: you will not feel like doing this for some time afterwards. If you are nervous, ask for medication to help you sleep the night before surgery. Nausea and constipation can be experienced after surgery. Be prepared for this with some medication. Standard advice before any surgery: leave your nails unpainted, as these are checked for problems associated with blood and oxygen circulation during surgery. Find out when the last time you can eat before surgery is, or it may be postponed, and make sure you have someone to be with you for the first 48 hours after surgery. Waiting for a Train

By Stephen Kaye Four-thirty-five in the afternoon finds me once again waiting for a train, returning from another hair-done, pressed-jacket, best-shoes-and-smile Job interview. The last hour sits heavily on my mind and thinking about it, I don’t know what the outcome of the interview will be. “After-interview syndrome” leaves me feeling either on top of the world, visualising how much I’m going to enjoy the job I think I’ve just won, or walking away painfully conscious of all the things I should have said and done, but didn’t. PERSONALITIES I’ve had extensive “Employment Interview training” with various people. Private Agencies, The Employment Service, “Executive Job Club”, and my fifteen years experience in professional sales gives me other skills to call on. But I still conclude that where interviews are concerned, it’s down to personalities. Either the Interviewer likes you or not. If so, you’re in with a chance. If not, - no matter how well qualified you are - no job. Not in most fields anyway. Everyone has their own opinions, likes and dislikes. “Equal Opportunity for all” is a marvellous concept, but like racism and other Social ills, you can’t really legislate against personal taste. CHOICE Several years ago, I was interviewed by someone who quite obviously took to me. I answered his questions poorly and made many other mistakes in the interview, including accepting the cigarette which was offered, (against all the rules) and joining my interviewer in some very bad jokes. We got on and I got the job! In previous interviews where I was one-hundred-and-ten-per cent qualified, with all the right experience in all the right places, I’ve answered questions perfectly, carried it all off by the book, and afterwards received negative response. You can’t odds it, as they say. There seem to be no rules. The Employment market today belongs to the Employers and they can choose exactly who they want to employ. Exact qualifications, the exact person with the exact experience they want. GETTING WHAT YOU WANT Your chances of getting exactly the job YOU want and are well qualified for, with the company of your choice and at the right salary, are practically nonexistent today. Unless of course, you really ARE the best in your field (in which case you’re probably not out of a job!). Applying for a position for which you are merely VERY WELL QUALIFIED is still a long shot. But the chances of an employer procuring someone who fits their profile exactly are extremely high. That’s the way the Employment market is right now, and it may be that way from here on out. NO REWARDS? Sitting at the station contemplating the effort and expectation I’ve put into yet another interview, I can genuinely sympathise with anyone who is actively engaged on the job search trail. It has all the potential necessary for total self-destruction and very few rewards until and unless you win a job. On two occasions in the past three years I’ve “beaten” others from a list of over 300 to become one of the last TWO candidates for one vacancy. Both times I came second. After exhausting interviews, days of homework preparing presentations, and maintaining a positive attitude which Gandhi or Mother Theresa would be proud of, the sense of loss is immense. There are no prizes for second place when there’s only one vacancy ……. Three hours ago I sat on the train here, bright-eyed, bushy tailed, and going to incredible lengths to keep even the smallest unwanted crease from my jacket, neurotically flicking away even the tiniest dust mote. But now the homeward train rumbling into the station pulls my thoughts free. I climb aboard and slump into a free seat. Carelessly, I run my fingers through my hair and ponder ……. “What shall we have for tea?” Stephen Kaye is an Author and businessman living in Devon. How to Remove Hair Dye

By Brenda H. Murphy Most women who choose to color their hair, do it at home. It’s not that difficult, and you get it done just the way you want. Unfortunately, you often do a little more than you want, and are left wondering how to remove hair dye from a variety of surfaces, including you! The first tip, is that when dying your hair, apply a border of Vaseline around the edge of your scalp. Make it an area perhaps an inch wide or more. Yes, it feels a little greasy, but it will save you the work of trying to scrub off dye stains at the base of your neck where you can’t even see what you’re doing. If you do have hair dye stains, there are commercial removers to be bought at hair salons (after all, they make mistakes too), but you can get the same results with your toothpaste. The make up of toothpaste means that it contains just enough abrasive to help remove the dye from your skin, without irritating it. Rub it in with your gloved fingers, or use an old toothbrush. When the dye falls on clothing, get it off and into cold water, immediately. Soak until the stain is all or mostly removed. Wring out and place on a firm surface, then use an old toothbrush to work a dishwashing detergent into the stain. Rinse and launder as usual but air dry in case the stain is not completely gone. If there is some mark left, soaking it overnight in one of the OxyClean products may help.
